Wprowadzenie

This 1-day course is designed to empower people who need to make informed decisions about IT governance but who are not themselves governance experts. It introduces the concepts of corporate and IT governance, risk management, and compliance, including information security. Participants are encouraged to consider and discuss a range of IT domains affected by governance, and some of the frameworks and best practices which can be used to improve IT governance.

On successful completion of this course, candidates can expect to gain knowledge of:
  • Corporate and IT governance. 
  • Risk management and compliance -The importance of an integrated approach to GRC.
  • Approaches to risk and compliance that can be adopted. 
  • Other domains and frameworks which are impacted by governance and which can contribute towards good governance.

  • Senior IT management, IT process owners, IT staff working in an audit or quality role, business managers, and business process owners. 
  • Individuals who require an understanding of IT governance and how it can contribute to the success of IT within an organization, and to the organization as a whole.
  • IT professionals who are working in an organization that is increasing its focus on governance and need to be informed about IT governance so that they can operate effectively within the organization. 
Prerequisites 
There are no prerequisites for this training. Experience of working in a business environment would be helpful, as would some oversight of the relationship between business and IT environments.
